Helping Men Spring into Fashion This Season

We must not forget all the men out there in the world! You too deserve to look and feel amazing. Here are a few quick steps to help spring into fashion this season:

1. Spring clean your closet – get rid of anything you have not worn in a year or does not fit you properly.

2. Replace your basics especially all white T-shirts – try a v-neck instead of a crew neck.

3. Look for a light colored trouser, something other than khaki for ex: light slate, cream or white.

4. Infuse more color through T-shirts, summer sweaters etc. a pastel yellow would be extremely handsome. It may sound a little crazy but it is time for a pedicure – yes even guys need them!

Jimmy Choo's H&M Collaboration

Reported by Fashion Week Daily (NEW YORK) Following in the illustrious footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and most recently, Matthew Williamson, H&M announced yesterday that Jimmy Choo would be the next luxury line to collaborate with the retailer. This is the first collaboration the company has done with a strictly accessories only line; however, the collection will be a first for Choo as well, with the Tamara Mellon-helmed company producing ready-to-wear for H&M. "We adore Jimmy Choo's shoes and bags," said Margareta van den Bosch, H&M's creative advisor, in a statement. "They are glamorous and sexy and add instant style to the simplest of outfits. I like the way we have worked with clothes to accessorize the shoes and bags rather than the other way around. This collaboration is particularly exciting because it's our first shoe designer collection. It's a joy to be able to offer top-quality, high-end designer shoes and bags to our customers."

"We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M, to be designing a collection that will appeal to fashion-savvy, street-smart women and to be including some great pieces for men, too," said Mellon. "Jimmy Choo will bring a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible, glamorous collection to H&M--the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out that night!"

Just a Lovely Picture to Start Your Day

Straight from THE CUT - 2 Tight = Nerve Problems

Too-tight pants could result not only in unsightly muffin top and rippling fabric in the crotch area, but also in a nerve condition called meralgia paresthetica, now seen in increasing numbers among young fit women.

Coupled with stiletto heels, the pressure these jeans put on the femoral cutaneous nerve that runs through the thigh can cause tingling and burning through the leg. They don't quantify how tight the pants would have to be to achieve this result, but the condition is normally seen in construction workers, pregnant women, and obese people (oh, the irony), not young gym bunnies. Meralgia paresthetica has become known as "tingly thigh syndrome."

Explains sufferer Parmeeta Ghoman: “It felt really strange — it felt like my leg had gone to sleep.”

Luckily the problem is easily remedied in young, fit ladies. All they have to do is wear looser pants and the tingling should subside with no permanent damage. “It is a pure sensory nerve — it doesn’t go to muscles or provide strength. Anything that is tight around there could potentially compress the nerve that goes there,” explains a doctor. Well, this does make the strongest case we've seen for jeggings. And pantslessness, for that matter. But more than those things, the rare pants that allow air between fabric and skin, which we will unflaggingly support.
