Roots to Lauren

From the Bronx to runway and now Beijing, Ralph Lauren continues to move from one fashion genre to the next. Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation will replace Roots Ltd this year as the “official outfitter for the US team at the 2008 Summer Olympics.” This has not been Polo’s first experience designing official sporting apparel which includes the U.S. Open and Wimbledon, although it will certainly be the largest group of athletes Lauren has dressed, clad, clothed.
