The Devil Wears Prada

If you haven’t seen the movie you must rent it. In the Devil Wears Prada, Miranda Priestly the high strung New York fashion magazine editor expected no less than perfection for all who worked for her. This character often described as cruel was believed to be based on the mighty Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988. The movie was based on a book written by Ms. Wintour’s former assistant. Interestingly, as of Friday, April 25th a new assistant has been named. She is Claiborne Swanson a former public relations associate at Vogue. Surely, a new and comprehensive confidentiality agreement has been drawn up to safeguard further movie releases.
