Yves Saint Laurent was born on Aug. 1, 1936 in Oran, Algeria. ByAt the age of 17 he was working in Paris for Mr. Christian Dior. AtBy the age of 21 YSL was named the head designer at the House of Dior. In 1961 he opened his own haute couture house. The brilliantly, talented beyond measure, designer passed away died on June 1st in Paris of brain cancer at the age of 71. You He will be forever missed!

Francisco Costa received the Women’s Wear Designer of the Year award. Tom Ford toke took home the Menswear Designer of the Year. While Ms. Tory Burch won the Accessory Designer of the Year! Congratulations to all!
