Proenza Schouler & Target, Really?!

The Cut has reported, Proenza Schouler is a bit upset with Target at the moment for the production of the Mossimo messenger bag that retails for $34.99. The claim - it is a knock off of their PS1 bag that sells for $1,995. Is this accusation warranted? Designers continually come out with similar interpretations of trends. Take a look at Mulberry “Alexa” bag retailing for $3,000. We don’t see Hermès crying foul play for the many interpretations of the “Kelly” or “Birkin”. Why fight?! What do you think??
