- "A little rouge", as my grandmother would say on the cheek and lip.
- Modernize with a bit of highlighter in the corners of the eyes towards the nose.
- Lastly, enhance the lash line with eyeliner.

The Über Sexy Shoe
Looking for an über sexy shoe that will go with practically everything, well look no further . . .
T A D A

Presenting a shoe that will not only extend your leg line but scream "ooh la la", without being over the top! The neutral color will blend & elongate. Although ankle strap shoes have a tendency to cut off the leg line it is counteracted by a vertical T-strap. A show stopper for only $69.00.
LOOK OF THE WEEK
A sheath dress can be worn in so many different ways. Here is three -
For cooler weather just add opaque tights. For warmer weather just add flats.

Tagged at Target
Mulberry has arrived at Target! I adore the black mini shoulder bag $29.99 perfect for on-the-go ladies: running errands, dancing the night away or carrying a baby on your hip.

In addition, is there anything better than a sweatshirt, biker jacket for $34.99??!! The PERFECT sweatshirt alternative: feels like one but sure doesn't look like one.

Get the Look for Your Man
One of my favorite websites is The Sartorialist! Scott Schuman began his work in New York and now travels around to international cities photographing "real people" on the street. The range of styles & personas he captures is inspiring. I like to think of his website as a bouquet of beautiful international interest. Here is one of his photos-

How to Look Hip in the Heat
With this summer heat sweeping most of the country it is difficult to think about putting on clothes when the only thing you want to do it take them off. Here is how to bring interest to a tank top and shorts easily and inexpensively.
Infuse color and interest through accessories. You have the power to jazz up your ordinary Ts.
LOOK 1

- Bracelet: a repurposed necklace
- Earrings: $3 from an art show
- Gap Favorite Tank Top now $10.00 (note: they run larger so try a size smaller)
- Just add: a comfortable skirt or shorts
LOOK 2

- Necklaces: 1. Multi color bib $15 from street fair; 2. Ethnic rope $22 from Poland (note: anytime you travel look for interesting accessories you won't find back home instead of a t-shirt or refrigerator magnet, plus it is alway fun to say "oh I got this in _____.) 3. Magenta star burst for $7 at a consignment shop.
- Gap Pocket T
- Navy blue shorts from Forever 21 - $10.90
Beat the heat in style!

Taming Trends
Trends are sometimes difficult to wear due to our different body shapes, tricky cuts and colors. Personalizing trends is one way to have them work FOR you and not against you for example: the nautical strips.
1. Look for a cut that works for your own body. V-necks are elongating & also break-up a broad chest. A boatneck t-shirt will balance a wider hip (be sure that it does not fall past the top of your hip). Scoop neck shirts enhance a bust line while sleeveless & halter tops showcase great arms & shoulders.

2. Add your individual touch. Couple the trend with your favorite accessory. The above Target shirt for $12.99 is shown here with white, cut coral necklace for $10 (a fabulous consignment store find). Worried about the horizontal lines widening your top half, offset it by throwing on a long necklace or solid color scarf.
Don't be scared of trends, tame them!

Shades of Elegance
Protective eyewear was part of Jackie O's signature look. They are fabulous for disguising a terrible night's sleep, unwanted dark circles or a lack of eye makeup. No matter what the morning may or may not have brought a pair of classic and chic sunglasses will add a polish finish to any look.
My favorite & a present from my love -
